Scope and limits
Research pages identify their collection window, denominator, and caveats. Cover-up-focused activity is not a measure of every tattoo client, free-text categories can be lower bounds, and small samples are marked instead of generalized.
Corrections and versioning
When a correction is confirmed for a source or calculation error, we update the affected statement and supporting data, preserve the original publication date, and advance only that page's updated date. Minor copy or formatting edits do not create a misleading new version.
